Luis Mendo worked as a creative director in Europe for two decades before he moved to Japan and switched his career to illustration. Today, his clients include Apple, Uniqlo, and The New York Times.
During the pandemic, Luis began a personal project making a series of covers for a magazine that doesn't exist. Called The Home Stayer, it's a charming tribute to The New Yorker and also reflective of our times.
For Creative Boom, Luis has created this one-off artwork from the series. Titled The Home Stayer, it's available as part of our debut print drop.
